Coastal Cruiser Bikes are committed to delivering quality and durability in every bike sold. We stand behind our products with a limited warranty to ensure your satisfaction and peace of mind. This policy applies only to purchases within the United States.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty Period
All new bikes purchased directly from Coastal Cruiser are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase or delivery, or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first. Replacement parts used during repairs are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. A valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is required to file a claim.
What’s Covered
Under our New Bike Guarantee, Coastal Cruiser will replace any defective parts free of charge within the first 30 days of purchase, including shipping. After 30 days, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Covered components include:
- Drive unit
- Frame
- Battery
- Mechanical components
- Electrical components
Shipping Damage Claims
We recommend inspecting your product immediately upon delivery. Damage claims must be submitted within 7 days of receipt.
- Document the damage with photographs (date-stamped if possible).
- Retain all original packaging and shipping paperwork.
- Contact us at support@wndrbike.com for return or replacement instructions.
Note: Damage claims submitted after 7 days will not be accepted.
What’s Not Covered
The following are not covered under this warranty:
- Normal wear and tear, such as fading paint, cosmetic scratches, or tire cracking.
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect, including:
- Racing or competition use
- Improper maintenance or unauthorized modifications
- Use of non-compatible parts or lubricants
- Exposure to water damage or corrosive elements like saltwater
- Decreases in battery performance due to typical usage conditions (e.g., temperature, load, or charge cycles).
- Commercial applications like rentals or deliveries.
Batteries with less than 50% capacity after 200 charge cycles or within the warranty period are not eligible for replacement under this warranty.
Warranty Void
The warranty will be void under the following circumstances:
- Commercial use (e.g., rentals, leasing).
- Damage from using third-party chargers or non-original components.
- Bikes shipped using unauthorized freight services.
- Repairs or alterations performed by unauthorized individuals.
- Improper storage, such as storing the battery fully discharged.
Exclusions
This limited warranty supersedes any other implied warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Warranty terms may vary by state or region.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure your bike remains in top condition:
- Follow all care and maintenance instructions provided in the Owner’s Manual.
- Report any defects within 7 days of discovery.
- Provide clear photographs and documentation of the issue when submitting a warranty claim.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs when returning parts for warranty inspection or replacement. Insurance for returned items is strongly recommended.
Submitting a Claim
To file a warranty claim:
- Retain the original shipping box for returns.
- Submit a claim ticket online by clicking here.
- Provide proof of purchase and detailed photos or videos of the defect.
- Coastal Cruiser will assess the claim and, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product.
Do not attempt unauthorized repairs, as this may void the warranty.
